Charter sea containers

As a charter with United Container Transport BV (UCT), you will play a role in our sea container planning on a daily basis. You carry out national and/or international road transport, depending on supply and demand. The responsibility lies in the safe and timely transport of sea containers to and from the various major ports, to various destinations in Europe. There is close contact with our planning team to ensure that the loads are delivered to our valued customers on time and in good condition. • Valid CE driving license with driving experience
• Valid NIWO permit and VIHB certificate
• Knowledge of national and international routes
• Willingness to work flexible hours and drive long distances if necessary
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Possession of a Euro 6 car, Cargocard and Alfapass is required.
• Excellent command of the Dutch and/or English language, both spoken and written.

• Experience with the transport of sea containers is desirable, but not necessary
• Your own container chassis is not necessary, it can be rented from UCT. 
• ADR certification and possession of a genset is a plus, but not essential.

It is important to note that a charter position at UCT does not involve employment, but does involve a carriage agreement.
