Change

General terms and conditions from May 1, 2024

Gladly we would like to inform you of an important development within United Container Transport BV (UCT). As of May 1, 2024, UCT will act as a forwarder for both national and international transport. This change follows a recent evaluation of our activities, carried out by experts. While UCT was considered a carrier when it was founded in 2003, after 21 years it has been found that our company functions better as a forwarder. This transition also involves an adjustment to our General Terms and Conditions. You will find the new general terms and conditions below.

The Dutch Forwarding Conditions, including the arbitration clause, filed by Fenex at the registry(s) of the District Court(s) in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, latest version, apply to all our work. Dutch law is applicable. Claims that United Container Transport BV may have under art. 23 paragraph 1 of the Dutch Forwarding Conditions will be settled exclusively by the competent Dutch court in the place of business of United Container Transport BV.

The conditions were provided to you before or at the time of concluding the agreement and will be sent free of charge upon request. You can also read and download this below
